About FY

The Young Friends of the Institute is a committee of the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art formed in February of 2003. Its mission is to sponsor events that will attract a younger and more ethnically diverse public to the Institute. It also aims to establish ties with other art foundations with the hope of embarking on collaborative projects. The Young Friends have presented a number of events, including workshops, performances, lectures, films, discussions and concerts. One of the Young Friends most successful activities is the annual presentation of "Juventus", a juried student exhibition that features the work of artists from the United States and Canada.
